Scope of work
We moved the website over to our hosting environment which offers our clients minimal down-time and peace of mind.
With a lot of content to present on the website, an intuitive framework and layout was pivotal to the design
Used to looking after their own website we built the site in WordPress so that Joint Adventures could easily manage and update content.
Working closely with Joint Adventures we took the time to understand what was most important to them in terms of the business and their online presence. We discussed in detail what they liked about the old site and made sure we integrated that into the design. Our first step was in pulling apart the old navigation and starting afresh in how we were to display the content. We used an easy-to-navigate mega menu alongside image boxes to display clearly and simply the array of activities Joint Adventures have on offer. Additionally we stream-lined content and ensured all policies and procedures were accessible to those participating in activities with Joint Adventures.
Inspiring visitors to the website to participate in outdoor activities with the Coniston-based business was going to be easy with Adam’s keen eye for photography. Whilst containing valuable information, the site is visually based with large header images and galleries of many happy customers in action shots taken during excursions. It highlights the personal experience Joint Adventures offers.
From our point of view we love to have a client who is enthusiastic about putting their personal stamp on it. Building a brand new site in WordPress allows Adam to make many changes and also play around with functionality, knowing that we are there to support as and when he needs us.
