A longstanding, professional photographer who’s business had evolved over the years, Christopher Holmes had a really poor Yell website which no longer accurately represented the photography that he was hoping to focus on from a business perspective.
Whilst successful through reputation across the North West, a new website was considered an opportunity to showcase the areas of photography that Chris excels in whilst also freshening up and re-centerring the online presence of his business.
Chris’s photography speaks for itself. Strong photography is a good starting position for any website, and with so much to choose from it was clear that a content light, image-based site would allow his work to tell the story.
Keen to keep the website focussed on the different photography services on offer, we split the site into a number of service specific galleries. This allows visitors to the site to browse through examples of work relevant to what they are looking for e.g. commercial photography. It also strengthens the site’s Google ranking, ensuring Christopher Holmes Photography is discoverable in the right service areas across Cumbria and beyond.
Each gallery has a clear yet friendly call to actions, leading visitors to make contact. Keeping this action central to the site. Overall the website has a personable feel, understanding that when opting for Christopher Holmes Photography, you are opting for Chris - the man behind the camera.
