Based in the Lyth Valley for over 40 years, Lambhowe Caravan and Lodge Park are a well established family business. They had a website which had also worked for them for a number years but as the business evolved with the times, they felt it was time for a new website which was more fitting to their identity.
To support a more modern online presence, the client chose to refresh their branding and take a nod to their beautiful location in the Lyth Valley. With lodges and caravans for sale, new and pre-loved, a new website would need to allow them to list these so that as a business, they could move towards growing their customer base online.
We worked with the client to refresh their branding, supporting them in a new logo in the shades of damsons which grow in abundance throughout the Lyth Valley. Having visited the site and taking time to appreciate their breathtaking location in the Lake District, we felt we were well placed to support them in their decisions around branding as well as designing a website which captured the beauty of Lambhowe.
Based on site, our client was in a position to capture beautiful images of Lambhowe and the surrounding area. We used large images to show the park at it’s best and to capture the imagination of people looking to invest in a lodge or caravan in the Lake District. We kept the feeling contemporary but without losing the legacy that lies behind this long established family business.
We built the new WordPress website so that the client could easily manage sales listings. The website also incorporates a blog - living an outdoors lifestyle in the very location offers a great opportunity to share the experience of living in the Lake District with current caravan and lodge owners, alongside those looking to make the investment to have a ‘place’ at Lambhowe.
