Chris Ellwood had a website managed through a national marketing company. Over time it had become increasingly difficult to have changes made to the website with no face-to-face contact or meaningful support and they often wanted to charge for minimal changes. The website contained information that was no longer relevant and had not been updated to include new services that the business now wanted to advertise.
With costs mounting for very little return and the marketing company playing hard ball, it seemed time to sever ties. It felt most sensible to build a new website where all services on offer by Chris Ellwood were advertised, it could be linked in properly with Google My Business to strengthen SEO and, most importantly, would be a great place to display examples of their high quality work.
We got to work building a new WordPress website for Chris Ellwood, adopting a new domain name, meaning that our job was going to be a little more difficult in re-establishing the website’s Google position and discoverability. With intelligent SEO at the core, we looked to build a site which would perform well in all areas.
With Chris and his team keen photographers, he offered us access to images which allowed us to more visually display his services online. We structured the website into the services on offer, making it clear all the trades the business has to offer and also so that they are discoverable for each.
We covered all bases, ensuring that Chris Ellwood now also had an up to date Google My Business listing and that he could quickly build up his Google ranking with his new domain name. In addition we made sure that his accreditations are clear, social media is clearly linked to the site and the website makes contact as clear and easy as possible.
