A charitable organisation based in Barrow, Full of Noises are an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation. They are predominantly funding based and were existing with a self-built WordPress website.
Although doing all that it needed to do, there were limitations on style and functionality. When the opportunity for funding came up it seemed like a good opportunity to have website professionally built.
Full of Noises is an impressively artistic and creative organisation that breathes life into contemporary sound art. The design of the website had to fit with this and we opted for a monochromatic, contemporary design, using striking photography to stimulate interest across the site.
The site was to be multi-faceted. It was to be historical, current and forward thinking with multiple ways of sharing media.
The website was to be a library for their deep archive of music and events, so that this history and inspiration was not to be lost. They also wanted the website to be a point of contact for people to find out about upcoming festivals and events, as well as clear call to actions for booking tickets through a third party. Looking forward, they saw the website as an opportunity to seek support, encouraging financial donations, so that they can continue to grow and move foward in the work they are doing with artists and composers.
We hope that the result is an inspiring site to work on for an inspiring organisation.
