Scope of work
We integrated a tailored booking system with the website allowing online bookings and availability checks.
We designed a new website which is sensitive to the ethos of Low Bridge End and sits nicely in a modern day context.
By using WordPress we have handed over a site which can be easily updated, with content regularly posted and shared.
We built a WordPress website using a contemporary design which we felt was still sensitive to the very ethos of Low Bridge End; a traditional working farm in the heart of the Lake District.
It displays the various aspects of Low Bridge End clearly; from accommodation, educational visits to the local produce available. A clear favourite to regular visitors we wanted to be sure the imagery used showed the area in its best light whilst clearly linking back to the family who very much make a visit to Low Bridge End the welcoming, warm experience that it is.
To keep visitors on the site and make booking accommodation a simple experience we used clear call-to-actions so it was possible to link on to the booking pages from any page on the website. For the Self-Catering Hayloft we also introduced a new booking system that is fully integrated with the site. It allows visitors to accurately check availability and book directly through the website – something which was not previously possible for the Self-Catering Hayloft.
However, most importantly, we have provided Low Bridge End Farm with a positive platform from which they can share their journey during the construction of their new bridge and advertise when they will very much be open for business. With their posts automatically shared on social media and a website they are able to frequently update, we hope at least one thing has been made easy for them during such a challenging time.
